Hoddesdon North - Steve WORTLEY
It has been almost 8 years since you did me the huge honour of voting for me in the Local Elections in Broxbourne and choosing me to represent you as your Local Councillor for Hoddesdon North, what an 8 years it has been!
I have lived in the Borough all my life and now I live right here, just off Lord St, in the heart of Hoddesdon with my wife and 2 daughters, and I am so proud and honoured to be able to fight for Hoddesdon residents and will do everything within my powers to make this wonderful place where we live, the best it can possibly be.
I honestly feel that Hoddesdon is fast becoming THE place in the Borough and perhaps even the County to live work and play. I am always championing Hoddesdon at Local Council level and continue to bang the drum loud and proud for our wonderful town.
I hope you feel that I have represented you to the highest level possible and if you check my Twitter (@SteveWortley) on Social Media you will be able to see the numerous events and causes that I have championed.
Whether it is supporting the wonderful Barclay Park, being an integral member of LoveHoddesdon and the incredible events that our Town organises, fighting hard for Town Centre improvements in terms of safety and security, campaigning hard and succeeding to stop the incinerator.

Hoddesdon Town & Rye Park - Alexander CURTIS
I have recently moved to Hoddesdon, though I have lived locally for almost my entire life. I have previous experience as a councillor, where I built up a strong reputation delivering for people and local businesses. As someone with extensive experience in local government, I know how to get things done for you from Day 1.
I attended a local comprehensive where I worked my way into the University of Oxford, from which I received a first class degree. A scientist by training, I am a keen problem-solver who has a strong track record of delivering results rather than just talking about doing things.
As a small businessman, I am a natural advocate for the self-employed and those working in small and medium-sized businesses. As a trustee of a regional charity working with people with learning difficulties, complex mental health needs and dementia, I can be counted on to stand up for those most in need in our local community. As a proud conviction Conservative, I value community, enterprise, hard work, national pride, our natural environment and personal responsibility.
Please get in contact with me if you have any questions by calling or emailing via the details below. I hope I can count on your support this May to ensure that Hoddesdon Town and Rye Park continues to have strong representation at the local decision-making level.

Broxbourne & Hoddesdon South - Paul MASON
Paul was first elected in 1999 and has served in many positions on the Council, including Leader of the Council. He is currently responsible for the Council’s finances as Cabinet Member for Finance. Keeping Council Tax low and providing good value for money are his priorities.
He has lived in the Borough for nearly 50 years and has many years' experience running and owning businesses that have been successful. The knowledge and expertise he brings has meant he has focused on strengthening the Council’s financial position, by ensuring your Council spends your money wisely and uses it resources and assets effectively.
Paul believes it is important that the Borough has a sufficient mix of employment and jobs for all its residents' and ample opportunities are provided for young people, when leaving full-time education. He and his colleagues have underscored this, by successfully helping to deliver the Sunset Film Studios on the A10, therefore, bringing Hollywood to Broxbourne. This has been an immense achievement for the Council and Paul is keen to ensure the whole Community benefits from it.
Over the last four years' he has not been afraid to stand to up for the area and protect its unique character. He was previously involved in the campaign to stop Veolia’s plans to build an incinerator in Hoddesdon, organising a public march through the Town and helping to raise funds to support a legal challenge, which eventually succeeded in thwarting their plans.

Wormley & Turnford - Nick NICHOLSON
It has been a privilege serving as your local Councillor since 1999. I have worked tirelessly with many community groups who care passionately about the area, such as the Wormley Society and the Big Local. I will continue to support them in realising their goals, if I am re-elected.
Our Conservative run Council and local Councillors have worked hard to protect important local services, whilst keeping Council tax low. It is important that the area continues to be a safe and clean place to live. My priorities are to ensure your views are represented on Broxbourne Council and your needs are met. With your support, we will continue to make Wormley and Turnford a great place to live.
I have worked hard to secure local jobs by seeking business investment and improvements into our community. This can be seen in the improvements and future plans for our Town Centres. The Council has major investments plans in both Hoddesdon Town Centre and Cheshunt Old Pond. My goal is to see the creation of local jobs for local people and provide young people with good job prospects when leaving full-time education.
I will fight to ensure Wormley and Turnford continues to receive its fair share of investment and enhancements, such as the new care home in Wormley, the floral displays along Turnford High Road and planting of trees on the Springs estate.

Cheshunt North - Sacha KANATLI
I have lived and worked in the borough of Broxbourne for 20 years. I began my career in the media industry, representing writers and directors for film and television.
My role also extended to sourcing funds for feature films and television projects. After having my children, I then retrained to become a primary school teacher and taught in Waltham Cross for many years. My passion for Broxbourne brought me into volunteering for community groups and projects.
I have had numerous roles such as a Secretary for a community group, providing advice on education issues to Saturday Tuition coordinators for a local school and I also sit on an events planning committee for SOCA.
I care about our local community and want to do all that I can to make our Borough an even better place to live.
My plan is clear - I want to make sure that I can help work alongside colleagues at Hertfordshire County Council to improve the standards of our local roads, something that many of you have told me about, tackling speeding and anti-social behaviour locally.
I want you to feel that you can approach me with any issues that you may have, and I will do my upmost to help and serve the residents of Cheshunt North!

Cheshunt South & Theobalds - Tony SIRACUSA
It has been a privilege to serve as your local Councillor since 2010. I have lived in the Borough for over 50 years and currently reside here with my wife and three young children.
As a tax-paying resident, I have worked hard to ensure that value for money is delivered locally. I am committed to focusing on local issues which affect you regardless of national challenges. With my experience, I am well-equipped to meet the needs and aspirations of residents of all ages. I have always strived to ensure that good quality design is met when planning applications are considered in Broxbourne.
I have supported exciting plans to invest £1.3 Million in Grundy Park and the Old Pond centre regeneration schemes, which will help improve traffic flow, reduce pollution and generally enhance the area. I have also implemented additional parking to help boost local business trade.
I have fought very hard to secure local jobs by seeking business investment and improvements into our community, something we have seen in the redevelopment of our Town Centres.
My goal is to see the creation of local jobs for local people and provide young people with good career prospects.
I will always stand up for Cheshunt and secure it's fair share of investment, such as the Conservative Councils investment into the Cheshunt Community Hospital.

Rosedale & Bury Green - Martin GREENSMYTH
Since first being elected in 2002, I am proud to represent the residents. I have lived in Rosedale & Bury Green for 37 years. My wife and I have enjoyed raising our family here. The education of future generations is important to me, ensuring that every child gets the best start in life which is why I have volunteered on the trust committee of The Robert Dewhurst's School Foundation.
I have recently been highlighting the problems associated with light pollution in the Borough, which has the potential to increase with larger commercial developments. Whilst these developments can benefit us, I have raised the issue with developers, Council Officers & other Councillors, to make them aware of the risks and mitigate the effects of lighting during night-time hours.
I have fought hard to secure local jobs by encouraging business to invest locally and I have pushed for improvements and increased investment in all of our Town Centres, including Cheshunt Old Pond. My goal is to see the creation of more jobs locally & provide young people with good job prospects when leaving school.
I am also pleased to have supported improvements to pathways in Whit Hern Park and will continue to seek further improvements in our green spaces.
If re-elected, I will continue to ensure Rosedale and Bury Green receives its fair share, such as the £11,000,000 investment at the Theobalds Enterprise Centre and the proposal to provide much needed assisted living housing for our residents.

Flamstead End - Paul SEEBY
I have lived in the Borough all my life. I have represented Flamstead End and the surrounding areas for many years, where my family have had a long association, as my Grandfather was born in Longfield Lane.
I have never been afraid to speak up for the community and in the past set-up the Rosedale Community Safety Group, which was a partnership with the Police, local church, Youth Service and residents. As a strong believer in community action, I continue to work with others on addressing anti-social behaviour and have recently worked with the CO-OP on this issue. Our neighborhood is one of the safest in the Borough, yet we cannot be complacent. I will campaign for better youth services and continue to work with Herts Constabulary.
Flamstead End is beautiful place, with Cheshunt Park having won a Green Flag Award for many years, following my work to enter the Green Flag scheme. Broxbourne Council has supported employment growth along the A10 with the development of the Sunset Studios, now under construction, which will provide more employment opportunities for residents and especially young people leaving full-time education. Locally, there are exciting plans to invest hundreds of millions of Pounds to re-develop Brookfield into a major retail and leisure destination, which will include a cinema, restaurants and the creation of more jobs.
If elected, I will continue to stand up for Flamstead End and ensure your voice is continued to be heard.

Goffs Oak - Corina GANDER
My name is Corina Gander and I’m standing as your Conservative candidate for Goffs Oak. I have lived in the Borough with my family for 14 years and as a parent I am very passionate about the local community. Goffs Oak is a unique place in our Borough with a strong community spirit.
I will fight tirelessly to ensure Goffs Oak's voice is heard and will work day and night to support the delivery of our community facilities in the centre of the village. My youngest Daughter has a disability and since her birth I have been campaigning relentlessly for those whose voice is not always heard. This has brought me many great opportunities to work with key services and Government to help make a difference to families lives.
I strongly believe everyone deserves an equal chance and the opportunity to have their views and opinions heard. Every problem has a solution. I thrive on obtaining positive outcomes and won’t give up easily.
Therefore, I am standing to be your local Councillor. Goffs Oak is a great village in our Borough with a great community of residents. I would be privileged to represent you as one of your local Councillors and would work hard to maintain Goffs Oak village.
Goffs Oak has many ongoing projects and I hope that I can win your support so that I can ensure these are successfully completed including our new village hall to the benefit of the community.

Waltham Cross - David McPADDEN
I’m David McPadden, your Conservative candidate for Waltham Cross. The Cross is a place with great potential, and I would be honoured to help it reach that as your local councillor.
I have been a member of the Waltham Cross community for all my life: attending school and church, visiting the town centre and enjoying our patch of the Lea Valley Park.
I know our town’s strengths, like our green spaces, independent businesses and great schools. But I also know its problems, and I’m determined to be a voice helping to make things better.
Lots of great work is already happening, such as The Sunset Studios development which will put Waltham Cross on the map and provide fantastic opportunities for local residents. As your councillor I would ensure the people of Waltham Cross are at the forefront of the developers' and the council’s mind at every stage.
These projects must be delivered successfully for residents, businesses and visitors. Above all, I will be a visible and approachable Councillor, determined to solve your problems and work with you to make Waltham Cross an even better place to live, work and play.
